Dolphins one step closer to taking over the world
Any of you wishing you could afford an iPad but can’t seem to put together the funds might as well stop reading now, because friggin animals now have iPads.
That’s right, Mexico’s own Merlin the Dolphin is apparently the first animal to get an iPad, thanks to dolphin researcher Jack Kassewitz of Speak Dolphin. “The use of the iPad is part of our continuing search to find a suitable touchscreen technology which the dolphins can activate with the tip of their rostrums or beaks,” says Kassewitz. “We think that once the dolphins get the hang of the touchscreen, we can let them choose from a wide assortment of symbols to represent objects, actions and even emotions”.
Since it’s now only a matter of time before Merlin sets the record in Angry Birds, I would like to petition Apple to join my “anti-rostrum” movement and invent something that can ONLY be operated via opposable thumbs, thus keeping humanity at the top of the food chain… For now.

Finally they can tell us where the base ship is from the abyss.
It’s time we put those rubbery cetaceans to work for all those fish we give them. Give them an iPad with Pages and let them start writing advertising copy for aquariums.
