You know you’re in trouble when you have to tell people your product is real
How many times have you been out with your iPhone and wished you could attach a giant SLR lens to it to capture that perfect shot? Never? Agreed. Yet apparently the folks at Photojojo think someone, somewhere is interested. Check out their iPhone SLR Mount.. For just $249 (iPhone 4 model) you can hook up your Canon or Nikon SLR lenses to your iPhone and… oh God, are they sure this is real?
Let’s ignore for a moment that these lenses are larger than your iPhone, and you’d likely need a tripod as well to take a decent shot… Oh who am I kidding, we CAN’T ignore that! What photographer in their right mind would be willing to go out carrying 2/3 of their gear, but stop short of packing the camera body with the awesome imager in lieu of the iPhone 4? What’s even crazier is that they make a $199 model for the iPhone 3, which has about as decent a camera as the original iSight. I’d love to see sales figures on this…

Crazy shitty idea, and crazy shitty image. The stupidest idea everrrrrr!!!!!11111!!!
This is just a silly idea, especially when you can get a compact camera with higher resolution and a high zoom range for less money. And they actually got a PC World shill to endorse it, or is that just a general endorsement of their products? Well, if you really want one, wait three months and get it from buy.com for $20 when they dump their unsold stock.
