DragonVale: How to breed a Pearl Dragon
[EDIT: Looks like the “rare” Pearl Dragon egg seen below is actually the newly updated Pearl Dragon egg, so the original egg might actually turn out to be the “rare” one you can no longer get. Not sure why BackFlip Studios changed it midway through, but it looks like the Pearl Egg with the Pearl in it is the new egg]
PEARL DRAGON:
INCUBATION TIME: 30 Hours
BUY-IT Price: 1,475 GEMS
HOW TO BREED: Snow and Seaweed (Seasonal – can only be bred in the Month of June)
Interesting Fact: The Pearl Dragon is the only dragon I have seen so far that has TWO different types of eggs (scroll down). The hatched Pearl Dragons appear identical, however, so I am not sure the reason behind the difference.

The 3rd Egg (pinkish white) is the original DragonVale PEARL Dragon Egg
The Pearl Dragon egg apparently comes in TWO varieties (Egg 4 is the alternate egg). The dragons seem the same though.

I have tried almost 50 times wig snow and seaweed yet u still haven’t gotten one yet
I was looking for a Bloom dragon: Plant + Storm and just got a 30 hr. Does any one know what it is? Can it be a Pearl dragon?

You can’t get aquamarines anymore, you can only get them inbtheir month -says the one who is lvl 26 and has a emerald and jade

If you want a Panglong it’s snow and seaweed dragon I promise it’s right and it can work on the regular breeding cave but it takes long to breed it or you can do it on epic breeding island
No it does not I tried it three times o got a reindeer and a lichen!

I got a 30 hour breeding time with Lichen/Magnetic trying to get the Apocalypse dragon. I think it’s this but I’m not sure. What else could it be?

Since now im seeing all this. I get rare dragons in my first try. this makes me strange…
Actually, I have seen the rainbow dragon has two kinds of eggs, one is striped with the colors of the rainbow and one is white with colored dots all over the face.
I think I got this dragon because I bred storm and plant trying to get bloom but got a 30 hour time.

Ok there’s the thing. I have been trying so long to breed the pearl dragon and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I am doing SNOW and SEAWEED But it doesn’t seem to work. Does it matter if they are different levels? Also, I need gems so add me. Blackbear1991 is the name. I will return gems to you as well. Any tips on how to breed this dragon would be appreciated. Ok I am going completely insane. I tried to breed pearl all thru June now all thru this free time. Snow and seaweed both ways and everytime anything but pearl. I’ve had no problem breeding any other dragons even the ones some were really having issues with. Now I’m a 43 yr old mother of 4 adult or nearly adult kids and I am going to have to start killing them from the stress of this pearl dragon. Is there any other combos that have worked for this?
Try Plant + Storm I just got 30 hrs, I think is a pearl. Let you know

After the sixth attempt breeding seaweed and snow I have got a 24 hour egg. I have the upgraded breeding island…it can only be ??? you guessed it.
i have found that gem dragons come easiler at level 10 or below.
I got it wit lvl 12 snow and lvl 12 seaweed first time on EBI.

Got it with snow and seaweed both 10 level and twice at the same time! 🙂 Once in breeding cave upgraded (24 hours) and once in the breeding island (30 hours)
