First ever Concerto for iPad and Orchestra ruined by idiot coughing
OK, maybe not ruined, per se, but if I were there this guy would have been all I could hear. I hate people who can’t control themselves in quiet public situations. It’s inconsiderate idiots like this that are the reason I can’t go to the movies anymore. I mean, stay home if you have TB. Seriously, check him out at 0:43, 1:38, and 2:22 – and that is just what we hear on a severely edited down version of this concerto. You KNOW he must have coughed through the entire thing. In fact, odds are everyone who attended this concert is now dead.
Oh, and speaking of the concert, it’s actually quite cool. Here’s some actual, non-ranting about coughers-info about it:
Here a few moments from the Concerto for iPad Orchestra by Ned McGowan, performed by Keiko Shichijo on the iPad with the Sinfonia Rotterdam, conducted by Conrad van Alphen. This work is the 2nd in the Rotterdam Concerto series initiated by the Doelen and Sinfonia Rotterdam.
And here’s an interview with the composer (and faithful Macenstein reader) Ned McGowan, who sent us the link. Thanks Ned!
I came here for the coughing idiot
🙂
I can’t make out anyone coughing at all – very strange.
Fu*k you, I have cistic fibrosys and it’s impossible to control my cough. That doesn’t make me an idiot or pariah. Be angry with the one who doesn’t turn off his gsm but not about that guy, you don’t know him and you don’t know why he’s coughing. Stupid as*ho*e…
