The worst thing I ever forgot was probably my shoes. Sounds crazy, right? I woke up at about 300 in the morning to make a two hour drive to play soccer in a far away town. I get there, look in my bag, and realize I left my shoes in my bag. Had to play on super muddy grass in my basketball shoes. That thought me a lesson.
My friend and I planned a snowboarding trip one weekend, and I volunteered to drive. We crammed all of our gear in the car, and stowed our boards in my roof racks. We’re on the highway, about halfway there when traffic halts out of no where, and I see my board sail through the air and disappear in front of the car ahead of me. My friend got out and ran to get my board (her’s stayed put, luckily), but not before the car ahead of us ran it over and busted my bindings. It seemed I had forgotten to close my racks…
I forgot my ppt presentation which I had to present in class for a final grade.
I forgot to go to the bathroom when my family and I were driving to Lake Tahoe in the winter, when there was lots of traffic. I really needed to go, so my father went to the very side of the freeway. I hid behind the car, where nobody could see me and leaned onto the car, and it felt great. Little did I know that my butt would be stuck to the freezing car. After 30 minutes of trivial thinking, my mom had to go to many cars, explain the situation, and thankfully, after tons of humiliation, one of them had hot water and they poured it above me, thus ending my tragic story.
I went out and left my dogs outside. One of my dogs was not used to being left outside. I came home and he was bawling his brains out. I never did that again.
I forgot to reminder my father to give my grandma a healthy checking as she asked. She was found having cancer six months later…God! I am so sorry, nanna
I forgot to pick up some flowers for my wife on our 4th anniversary… I’m single now.
I forgot to go school shopping.. None of my clothes fit, I have no pencils, and I’ve been in school for 3 weeks.
the worst thing i’ve ever forgotten was all my homework that was due. like i literally forgot everything at home and had to tell all my teachers i forgot it and get zeros for everything. it took forever to get my grades back up
The worst thing I have forgotten was to pick my 7 year old sister up from dance class 3 hours late after her dance instructor finally had the chance to call my house and remind me
I forgot once that my 7 year old little brother was playing outside. I locked the doors and went to the basement of our house. It took me a while to realize the source of the banging sound I was hearing. When I went upstairs I found my little brother bawling and hitting the sliding door. Despite how bad I felt about it already, my mom found out and she was furious. Now I don’t even touch the locks unless someone tells me to.
I’d have to say the worst thing I have ever forgotten was my 50 page book for writing contest. I had it on my computer and had meant to save it to a disk drive for printing at school, but for some reason it didn’t save and I raced out the door to get on the bus without the document properly saved. When I went back to try and retrieve the document, I had lost over 23 pages! Did not win that contest…
The worst thing I ever forgot was my puppy at the vet. I have two pups and I walked in with both for their annual and I walked out with one. I left the littlest one with it’s leash on the hook at the desk. I opened the car door for the bigger one not thinking of the little one because she always jumps up into the back seat without any provocation. Then I got in my car and started to pull out. It wasn’t until I looked over my should to back out that I realized my little Yorkie was still in the vet. Do you know ho embarrassing it is to have to admit that you left your pup? /sigh
My whole family(total of 6 of us)were unloading the van we rode to the airport in and I made sure everyone else got their carry on bags, purses, wallets, etc. the van leaves and we all go into the building to wait for check-in time. Then I noticed that MY wallet with my ID and ALL MY MONEY was still in the van. Luckily the driver was family and not a stranger, but he lived 1 hour from the airport and had left for home about 5 minutes before I noticed that my memory had failed me. I had to be “patted down” prior to all 3 take offs but did make it to my vacation destination(as you can believe I was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER but knew the airport security had to do their jobs and could have made my already bad day even worse(that started at 4:00 in the morning). We finally got ahold of the family member/driver and had to ask him to mail my forgotten item to me from Maine to Florida. Good thing I made sure everyone else had their stuff though. You can bet I checked and double checked for my wallet before we departed for the airport on our last day in Florida. The trip back home was MUCH LESS STRESSFUL.
I completely forgot my tickets to a concert once. This was after an 1.5 hr drive to get to the venue. Forgot other people’s tickets as well. Was very upsetting.
once in the middle of the night when pee time woke me up… my toilet lid…. 🙁 At my mother-in-law’ house…
I forgot to sign up for this contest back in August.
I forgot my school laptop at home. a 5 hr car ride away
