Rushing between 3 schools on Parent Teacher Report Card Interview night we got behind in the times when the interview ran late. We had to rush from the High School to the elementary school 10 Kilometers away. When we got to the elementary school we realized we forgot to get our oldest child after Drivers Education Class. We texted him, apologized to him, went to the teacher interview then turned around and picked him up at the high school. I felt horrible.

“What is the worst thing you ever forgotten?”

I usually have a single password for all the applications requiring a login. I actually forgot my password – associated, yikes!, with a birthday of a family member.

Now, I don’t think this reads as a “worst thing,” but, I keep everything on my computer, so as I couldn’t log into any applications, I missed business meetings, birthdays, important email messages, I missed my life. Suffice to write, I got a Mac and have it remember my passwords (which I often change) and keep a written calendar, too.

  37. Emily Luker says:

Forgot the keys & my work lunch— not good!!!!

  38. Lori P says:

I left my 8 year old child at church after the youth activities. I told him to get in the car with his brothers and the other 2 kids I was driving. I had more kids than I arrived with, so I didn’t realize he wasn’t in the car until after I dropped off the other children. Luckily, one of our family friends kept an eye on him until I came back about 10 minutes later.

  41. Mark S. says:

  42. Jessica says:

  43. Nick M says:

I printed my resume on the printer at work and I forgot to grab it. My boss found it several hours later and asked if I was looking for a different job.

  44. Krista P says:

The worst thing I ever forgot, was my sons seatbelt. 10 days old. I had him in his carrier, and had a blanket over him. Put the carrier in the car, and thought my husband did him up. He thought I did. We got home, and not only were his straps not done up, but the seat wasn’t attached either. Scared the life out of me. I still have nightmares about what could have happened!

  45. Jaycee Throckmorton says:

I have forgotten my keys in my locked car over 20 times since I have had my car. So I made an appointment with the car dealership to get my key (and the chip inside) duplicated, then forgot to go get the duplicate, and forgot my keys in my car and got locked out the same day!

  46. Paper says:

    My Dog from the vets…

  47. Scott says:

I had done a design for a client that needed to be printed on site. I arrived with my shiny inDesign file only to realize I had forgotten to include the main graphic image. A frantic email to my wife at home and said image was uploaded to Dropbox. Day saved!

Yes i am old enough and experienced enough to package my inDesign file just stupid enough to put the wrong folder on a thumb drive.

  48. Julia says:

Forgot I had not backed up my photos (4000) from dream holiday in Maldives before erasing my entire mac.
    All gone!!
Fortunately I had transferred a few to a memory stick to show my patents do I had still a tiny fraction of what were probably the best photos I’d ever taken…
A good reason to go back perhaps …but I’m still saving…
