Macenstein’s Mac Chick of the Month November 2013: Emily Weiss
Welcome to Macenstein‘s “Mac Chick of the Month”. Each month we feature a different die-hard, Mac-loving girl who is (almost) as well designed as the Apple products they love. This month we have the lovely Emily Weiss, a model, nanny (that’s right), and of course, a die hard Mac Chick!
Emily Weiss was born in New York, but raised and lives in Orlando, Fla. She graduated high school just last year and started modeling at age 17, most recently for fitness wear Affitnity.com and a new campaign for Sunbrushed Sunless Tanning products. She has been a nanny for about two years and she loves the iPad with the many educational and fun apps for the kids she takes care of. Her favorite apps for herself are facebook and instagram.
Emily is very much into the electronic dance music scene and her favorite DJs are Skirllex (favorite ever), Avicii, Tiesto and Nero. She even makes her own super sexy rave outfits. This year, she started creating custom rave outfits for others as well. That might turn into a side business, but right now, she’s keeping her options open as she’s about to make a big move to Las Vegas and visit Los Angeles to further her modeling career.

Nice to see an old eMac! But wait a minute – is that really OS X? Looks more like a linux chick to me …
Ok, ok… you got me. I found this eMac in a basement and the owner gave it to me. It still worked, but wouldn’t load the OS. So I had to put Ubuntu on it to put something on the screen. I finally got Tiger running on it, but not in time for this shoot. The eMac is mine, but the rest of the stuff is hers. By the way, there’s a very pretty girl in that photo, too.
Is that an eMac running 9? That’s HAWTE!!!

Obviously photoshopped… look at her hips in image #4 on the couch… where did they go? Unnatural!
You’ve got a good eye there, Elmo.
It is indeed smoothed because the way her hip was protruding was odd looking, but the alteration is minor. I’d be happy to share the unretouched photo with you so you can see that I did it purely for aesthetic reasons. I also fixed a tiny tear in the lace of her underwear. But I’ll tell you this, Emily is a beautiful girl and really nice, too… whether she’s obviously photoshopped or not.
She is indeed gorgeous, but she should be shown naturally and not photoshopped. Even I would look great when photoshopped… albeit with LOTS of processing power required.
