Toyota develops new breed of air-purifying shrub

Posted by Lab Rat

In an obvious sign that car makers have given up trying to save the environment by actually cutting greenhouse emissions from their vehicles (and risk losing horsepower), Toyota Motor Corp. said Thursday it had developed a new type of shrub that is capable of removing harmful pollutants from the air. It has dubbed this plant “The Kirsch Pink.”

Toyota hopes to sell 10,000 of the plants in the first year. Apparently these shrubs are similar to another sulfur dioxide-eating plant out there already called the Cherry Sage. However, Toyota claims the Kirsch Pink is 1.3 times as effective at removing the harmful chemicals.

Finally, a Bush that cares about the environment.

  1. Hi!
I have a manual 99 Model Toyota Corolla Levin. The oil leak is coming from the top of the gearbox at the back. The driveshaft seal on the left side has been replaced twice already in the last year.
I don’t know if Toyota is stuffing me around? Is there anything inside the gearbox that can leak? Is there anywhere I can get a diagram of what the inside of the transmision looks like?

I know the gearbox has obviously been taken out before.
Is it possible that it didn’t go back together properly?
I know there’s no gasket – where the gearbox casing part joins together under the car,(that metal seam part is just metal against metal) could it be that maybe it’s not sitting flat/flush against the other side [] and there’s a gap somewhere that’s leaking?

    Any info would be great.

please help me if you can

    Thanks for your advice.
