“The Simpsons” live action commercial appears on the internet

There is a new live-action commercial making the rounds on the internet on sites such as Youtube.com showing a faithful shot-for-shot re-creation of the opening title sequence from The Simpsons.
The spot (click here to watch a QT of it) was created by Sky Satellite Television Network to promote launch of the new season of the show in the UK.
This is not Mac-related per se (although hopefully Macs were used in some aspect of the spot’s creation) but we just thought it was so cool we had to help get the word out there.
Well, I bet at least someone involved in the shoot owns an iPod, so I ay it is MAc related.
This thing is awesome.
I wonder what it cost to make?
Wow, aside from Bart and Maggie, the Simpsons are FUGLY!
I really liked this as the opening sequence is always something I watch out for . To go from animation to live action was a really nice surprise.
