Ugh. I do not like that fellow.

Seriously, I think there are a few sections where every other word is from a different take. How hard would it be to run through your script first and figure out what you’re going to say.

He made all good, valid points, he’s just not very compelling if this video is for someone who’s not really convinced. I had trouble staying with him and I agree with him. :-/

Just FYI, the dude has been a lot better on paper- err… web reading- than in video. True, he can contradict himself once in a great while, but detailed timelines and charts have been a big help for his arguments. He’s on my RSS feed list.

He got into an accident a few months ago so the videos are a new thing.

His material is well researched and he’s right about a lot of things.

i actually like dilger. he’s obviously far into the apple spectrum – but it’s nice to have someone writing in that light. while you have paul thurott, or dvorak trashing apple.

I’ve always viewed Flash as being antithetical to the web. You need a player within a browser?!? This is the same concept as RealPlayer and Media Player. I’m hoping that HTML5 will change that. That you can develop a complete web page with multimedia elements that do not require any sort of player in order to be viewed.

I embrace moving away from external applications that are embedded into a web page to view items and move towards the HTML5 implementation that uses none.
