MIC releases yet another “Get it before Apple legal Attacks” goodie
M.I.C, the fine folks who released that amazingly detailed Steve Jobs Action figure, which Apple legal subsequently (allegedly) had pulled, and which M.I.C. subsequently began reselling after adding a ninja hood and throwing stars (I was able to snag two, in fact), is at it again, this time releasing an external USB hub that not only goes by the Apple-sounding name of “iHub”, but also features an illuminated Apple logo.
In fact, at first glance, the only real tip-off that the iHub isn’t a genuine Apple product is it only costs $10, where a real Apple USB hub would cost about $40. Sporting 4 USB 2.0 ports, the iHub is available in both black or white, and works on both Macs and PCs.

Another big tipoff at first glance: you can see seams where the plastic joins up. Apple would never do that.
Their last bit resulted in a cease and desist letter, but this one could actually end in a suit for damages, no?
Well, I ordered 2 (just like with the Steve Jobs doll) so maybe I’ll have another “collector’s item” sitting on my desk.

If that were actually from Apple, I’d buy it at $40. As it is, it’s not from Apple so it’s not even worth the $10 they’re asking, it’s way too ugly to be worthy of sitting on my desk anywhere near my iMac, iPhone, and other official apple products.
(I kid, I wouldn’t buy it at $40… I’d find a nicer looking one for a lower price elsewhere, if I needed one, which I don’t, yet.)
I don’t know if you realized, but you sound like (and are) an idiot. You will not buy a product for $10, yet you are willing to buy the same exact product for $40. The only difference between the two products is that one has smoother edges. This just shows how shallow you are. Go fuck yourself stupid hipster.
@ArtOfWar…Congrats on one the most useless post I’ve read today.
Luckily the white is sold out, because I don’t have much use for it.
Go to any electronics mall in Shenzhen and you’ll see many ‘Apple’ things, from dual SIM cell phones to coffee mugs…
