Do Macintoshes Dream of Electric Sheep?

Faithful Macenstein reader (and fellow Dr.) Dr. Games sent us this trippy piece of footage created by Mike Kan. The video is an attempt by Kan to visualize the Mac’s “boot-up sequence, initial program loader or phantom system, memory scans, hard drive signals and etc.” Kan used a custom designed bus monitor to create this real-time visualization of what your Mac is thinking when booting, all in real-time. The effect is referred to as “constellation mode”, for obvious reasons. The music was apparently just thrown in to scare the shit out of us.

This is why I leave my Mac on 24/7. I was expecting Chucky or some shit to pop through the screen.
