iPhone 5 promo video – It’s funny because it’s true
This apparently came out last week and 6 million people have already seen it, but I was on vacation, so screw you. Read More
How To: Change your characters on Minecraft Pocket Edition without Jailbreaking
UPDATE: With iOS 6 Apple has locked down the app directory, and this will no longer work. iExplorer is working on a solution but for now ether stick with iOS 5 or ask Mojang to allow us to import skins. For fans of Minecraft, the Pocket Edition for the iPhone is a mixed blessing. On the one hand you can play your favorite game anywhere you go… on the other, there are a ton... Read More
“Up”/”Birds” double feature poster
Usually when one hears the term “Mashup”, they think of a horrible pop song shoe-horning itself into a classic, well known song to generate quick sales for a talentless new “artist”. Or is that just me? Anyway, MY favorite mashups are the ones some VISUAL artists do for fictional combinations from the film, tv, and comic worlds. Case in point, this awesome... Read More

Unlike other high tech iPad keyboards that are portable and rely on the “fad” of Bluetooth, Yang’s iTypewriter kicks it super old-school, relying on touch-capacitive hammers... Read More

iPad finger painting of Toy Story 3 poster better than the actual movie
iPad finger artist Kyle Lambert made this amazing video showing his stroke-by-stroke finger painting of the Toy Story 3 poster sing only the Brushes iPad app. I don’t know why I find this type of thing fascinating to watch, but I do. I think it goes back to some early Nickelodeon show I remember watching as a kid where, as a narrator read a story, we would see a line art... Read More
Review: The Monster at the End of This Book for iOS
Yes, Sesame Street’s “The Monster at the End of This Book ($3.99 iTunes)” may seems like an odd choice for me to review, but even a heart as cold and cynical as mine can occasionally thaw when confronted with a childhood memory this awesome, especially when it is seen through the eyes of my OWN children, on my magical iPhone. The Monster at the End of This Book... Read More

Reported video of assembled iPhone 5 leaves many question (marks)
Macotakara has released a video showing what appears to be a “shell” of the iPhone 5, giving us our first good look at what the device will probably look like. I say “appears” only because after every new shot in the video, Macotakara puts a “?”, as if they are not fully willing to commit to this being the real deal. The design certainly looks... Read More
