Macenstein’s “Mac Chick of the Month” (June 2008): Erin Marie

Welcome to Macenstein‘s “Mac Chick of the Month”. Each month we feature a different die-hard, Mac-loving girl who is (almost) as well designed as the Apple products they love. This month we present you with the lovely Erin Marie, a Dallas triple threat model/actor/singer, and of course, a die-hard Mac Chick! Greg Woodson Photography Don’t let the term “model” fool you, despite being beautiful, Erin Marie boasts some serious geek street cred... Read More

MacBook Airhead

Look who just went Mac shopping! It’s Paris Hilton and her man of the hour Benji Madden. Paris picked up a brand new MacBook Air, while Madden opted for the MacBook Pro. We spotted Hilton with a MacBook Pro of her own a few months ago, but we’re sure the MBP must have died on her. After all, she doesn’t seem like the kind to make extravagant purchases just on a whim. Thanks to faithful Macenstein reader Chris for the tip! [Images: Ryan Fuertes via Mr. Paparazzi]  Read More

Celebrity Mac Chick Sighting: Katherine Heigl

Yes yes, we all want to see Miss June, I get it! Trust me, I’m working on it. In the meantime, faithful Macenstein reader Thomas has decided to help us out with yet another celebrity Mac Chick sighting, the lovely Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, Knocked Up) seen here gabbing on her iPhone, hopefully ordering a pizza or something.  Read More

Celebrity Mac Chick Sighting: Sophia Bush

You may remember Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis in the CW series One Tree Hill, but to me she’ll always be the celeb who was down to Earth enough to carry her iPhone in one hand, and her dog’s poop in the other. [via UseMyComputer]  Read More

Celebrity Mac Chick Sighting: Tina Fey

(I know, we’re running a bit late with this month’s Mac chick of the month, but here’s another celebrity Mac Chick to help pass the time). Not that this is very surprising (after all, what SNL writer doesn’t own a Mac?), but based on the shot below, I’m just wondering if Tina’s new MacBook Pro is the result of letting her toddler play with her iBook… [via watching30rock and Geeksugar]  Read More

Celebrity Mac chick Sighting mention: Gwyneth Paltrow

Above: Paltrow models Apple’s new iGlove, which makes EVERYTHING multitouch. Ok, admittedly the above shot from Vogue doesn’t show Paltrow using a Mac (and I pretty much wore out the interweb looking for one… however, a quick “command+F” of her Vogue article (no, I am not going to actually read through that) and we come up with the line: “Gwyneth opens a little Mac computer and Googles Japanese restaurants on the Internet for lunch. She decides... Read More

Celebrity Mac chick sighting: Emily Scott

I’ll admit I am not overly familiar with Australian model Emily Scott, although I must say, she is making an excellent first impression on me in these MacBook iBook (whoops!) photos. Emily was apparently named as “Sexiest Aussie Babe” by FHM Australia, and I don’t doubt it (although I may have to book a trip to Australia to verify this). Above: How do you like THEM Apples?! Attention Boston! Ellen Feiss needs a job

My my, where does the time go? It seems like only 2002 that a 14-year old Ellen Feiss launched Apple’s historic “Switch” ad campaign, and now she’s a soon-to-be college graduate, looking for a job! When interviewing Ellen about her immortalization in song, it came up that she was graduating college and looking for a job in the Boston area. I of course pointed out that a certain brand new gigantic Apple Store might be hiring (after all, I have a feeling... Read More

Celebrity Mac Chick sighting: Leelee Sobieski

Look who’s fightin’ AIDS in Africa with her (Product) Redâ„¢ iPod nano! It’s Leelee Sobieski, the most unlikely named woman in Hollywood. Kudos to you, Leelee! [via UseMyComputer]  Read More

(Alleged) Celebrity Mac Chick Sighting: Eva Longoria

Well, I have no photo proof of this one, but it being slow news day, and me always on the lookout for an excuse to run a hot picture of a female celebrity, I figured I would go ahead and take the word of one of our most faithful readers, Robert J Taylor. Robert writes: So, in November 2006 I was in Southern California for a job interview (remote Perl application developer with a Santa Monica employer…didn’t work out) and on the flight back (Continental) I met a Mac... Read More
