   Got the spring dragon using fire and storm… The elements required are fire, cold and lightening . I tried a few combos, flower and storm (3x times not successful), lava and storm (1try not successful), firefly and storm (2x not successful) and fire and storm successful 1st try… Breeding time is 19 hours

     The Olympic dragons are 35 hr which would b 28 in upgraded breeding which will show up as 27 hrs 59 min or it could b the cyclops which is 33 hr breed which is 26.4 in upgraded breeding which means it would ask for 27 gems to hatch. Hope this helps

    excuse me Mr. Nstine but I think your missing a dragon or two in your ultimate guide, the Diamond Dragon (only available in January). Notice how the gemstone dragons resemble each and EVERY birthstone, so if you don’t mind trying to find these dragons, I’ll try to send you a gem per day. Thanks.

          It’s because Dragonvale only started releasing the gemstone dragons in May last year so this April will be the first time the Diamond will be available.
          Maybe some manners next time will get you a quicker answer…

      I know this is a naughty way round it but my m8s daughter does it as she is also to young, she has a f/b account but changed her date of birth so it looks as tho she’s older to Facebook rules but means she can use f/b friends for all her games!! I hope that’s ok and cures your need 4 friends coz without this I don’t think theirs another way xx

      To ‘ungrey’ your friends you just have to re-boot the game, not your device (its quicker). Double-press your button to bring up the games played most frequently, and hold the Dragonvale icon until it starts to wobble and a red circle eith a minus sign apprears. Click that red circle – it force closes the game (doesn’t delete the app!). Now go back into DV and all your friends will be there to gift!

        Well now theres a new problem. Half of my friends have disapeared. They are still in my game center friends list but not in the dragon vale list. And i have some that i wanted to replace and i dont know how. Oh and id add you, i just need your gamer tag. Im Chewy?!

    Well Ch3wy, wer’e two of a kind my gem supply is literaly 0. and this makes my game as easy as getting blood from a stone… only i havent EVER had anyone on my list. like i said before, im offering nonstop gems for the first person to help me and let it be a success. remember, no facebook and no gamecenter.

    I am new to the game and am curious to know if, when breeding dragons, it makes a difference as to what level they are. Should they both be at thier max level in order to breed some of the more difficult hybrids?

      I saw the goal as well, but like you, when I tried to look in the marketplace, the game keeps crashing.. Gonna have to wait to see what it will look like. I have every Dragon so far, plus every Egg on Display (except Kairos obviously lol). Looking forward to another new one to try for. Hope someone comes up with a breeding pair for the Motely Dragon soon!

      Same here. Maybe a glitch? So many dragons in such short a time! Not complaining though, ’tis the point of the game. Speaking of goals, so now that they added new ones, we have to hatch dragons all over again to to compete the goal even if we already have those dragons on our islands?? I had enough trouble getting the aquamarines I do have, there’s no way I’ll hatch another before the month is over to complete that goal 🙁 wish there was a way the to scan ur dragons to mark those goals as completed already.

      I opened the store and saw it.
      The Motley dragon is red with orange tufts, blueish horns, and a green and blue eye. It costs 123 gems and takes 13 hours to hatch. It’s a mix of fire and plant. Probably an early April fools themed dragon.
      Still unsure of combination to breed it. I’m currently trying with fire, plant, and their hybrids.

            I agree with WakeUp, Motley is an APril Fools Curse! Excited to get it, it jumps around and looks neat, but such long breed time, and it isn’t worth Anything once you get one or two of them! At least it could be worth some gold!

    cant believe it!! Tried over and over to obtain aquamarine with no luck last month. So far Ive gotten 2 Diamonds in 3 days on 4 tries!! Mine/Ice both level 10 on the breeding island. I don’t have enough gems to speed them more than a couple of hours so waiting it out but will be worth it.

        Karen good for you, I got my first successful Diamond breeding after 12 tries with upgraded island and cave with Lv 15 Mine and Ice, whew, A bag of gems later, 2 Silvers hatching and lots of mine and steel dragons 🙂 My luck was last month with Gem breeding, not this month so far, plus my droid upgraded and I have all these new goals which is cool really….

    OMG!! I can’t wait until the motley dragon clears of because I had a strict breeding plan and motley has messed it all up! For example, this mourning, I mean morning, I was trying to breed either cactus or ash which lighting and plant but guess who decided to barge in with 13 hours? That’s right the little curse known as the motley dragon.

    P.S. I usually shape my breeding schedule round the morning so that was a bummer but the 13 hours takes up the whole day. I’m so ###### off.

      I think in their info it says that they only emit the light around the times when the equinox dragon or harvest dragons are arriving!! U are 1 of my friends on here but u can send me gems but I can’t see your name 2 send them back which is bad!! Xx
