So it appears more than a few of you are looking for tips on breeding various Dragons in DragonVale
(Free/Universal). If you’re not familiar with the game, you can read our review here, but suffice it to say it’s one of those “time burglars” where you raise and cross-breed various dragon-types to create the ultimate Magical Dragon zoo. Ultimately pointless, yet addicting. Unfortunately, some dragons can be hard to get, and though you may TRY to breed a combinations that looks like they should get you a hard-to-get Rainbow or Moon Dragon or such, sometimes it just doesn’t happen. So we decided to put out a list of what we have found to work for each Dragon Type. I currently have a couple of every dragon (my Game Center ID is “Dr Macenstein” if you’d like to check out my dragons) and while many of them can be gotten with different combos, I will tell you only what breeding combinations actually DID work for me. I will warn you that occasionally even the right combination may take up 20 times or even more, but I promise you, these combinations WILL work. Eventually. Also note a couple of these dragons are “seasonal”, and may not be available at the moment no matter what dragons you breed. Finally, I suggest for most hybrids you purchase the Breeding Island (located under “ISLANDS” in the market) as it can increase your odds when attempting to breed a particularly hard to get hybrid. That being said I think I have also bred most of these with the regular breeding cave as well. ALSO, please note: For pretty much every dragon I have found that the order does NOT matter, despite what people say. For instance I got a Plasma with Lightning and Seaweed, and my wife got it with Seaweed and Lightning. So feel free to mix up the order of my suggestions if you’d like. Again, I’m just telling you what worked for me. First up we have the “Elemental Dragons”. These cannot be bred – you have to shell out coins for these – so start saving. On the plus side, these dragons make up the building blocks for all other dragons, so once you have them, you can get the rest (well, ALMOST all the rest).

Hey, anyone know when the motley is going to clear off ‘cos it’s ruining my breeding schedule.
Dr.Mac. I’m a 34 old man, started DV when it first came out over a year a and half ago, never bought a gem/ cash. Had 10 friends committed but they lasted 6 months and couldntb handle it. i Own every dragon , island, decoration, habitat etc… At some point,. Never paid a dime, honestly, don’t know what jail breaking is?
Have no gem tree, just an EBI and reg. waited my hours and Kairos was a 6 months. You get it . I don’t want gems. I wanna wait to earn.
Need more islands or habitats or else I think I’m done. XPs, higher levels?
I know it’s not your issue, but any insight to when.

For all you Kindle people out there GameCircle is here! It’s a basic game centre for android! What you gotta do is tap the beach ball beside a game or the sign which two people on it, add friend and put in the nick name. Job done!

Dude, go into any game that’s supported by circle (I just found out that dragonvale isn’t), jetpack joyride or monster crew go to your tab at the side (you know, the one with the home option) tap the beach beach ball and va la ,your in the game centre for game. If you want game in general, go into games, the tab at the side should have that beach ball, tap it and you’ve got it! If you want to change your name, after your in game circle in the tab at the side as a box with some lines in it tap then tap profile it’s simple from there. to add friends, from there go to friends then add friend put in their nick names. Hey, I just started a quest and got 24 hours, what could I have possibly brought back? A huge stack’o’cash?
Please explain what and how the quest is and how to complete one?
I don’t ‘remember the name but it was fire and lighting so I used a firefly dragon. 24 hours seems a lot, I just want to know what I’ll bring back. This may be irrelevant but I am missing only one piece of the cronolith
Elizabeth, when you get the Karios Perch you can either spin or take a quest to try and get pieces to complete the dragon.
Anything above 2hrs will be a fragment from whichever section you are still putting 2gether for kairos!!! I know the wait is long n sometimes you will end up with a duplicate even tho u just waited 24hrs! Hope that helps xx
Err… I got 500,000 experience from a 6 hour trip once. I was a little peeved but at least it unlocked the metal dragons.
